The First Female FIFA 21 Commentator

The launch of FIFA 21 is one of the most anticipated global events in terms of video games. We will have to wait until next October 9 to find out the news that this soccer simulation video game will incorporate.

Not only virtual footballers are important to console users, commentators, and narrators of matches have become an indispensable part of the action thanks to their funny jokes. In fact, for the first time in the history of EA Sports there will be a woman serving as a commentator. This is the presenter NiraJuanco, from GOL Television.

On the EA Sports FIFA Spain channel, NiraJuanco explained:  “At first I thought it was a joke. When I saw that it was real, I don’t know how to describe the joy and pride I feel now because my voice is going to sound everywhere.”

And it is not for less because the journalist has made history by becoming the first female voice to narrate games in the FIFA franchise. It will do so in the 28th installment of this video game series where Mbappé, Trent Alexander-Arnold, ErlingBrautHaaland and João Félix will have an important niche by becoming the cover and ambassadors respectively of FIFA 21.

The presenter, known for being part of the cast of the GOL Television network, has acknowledged how similar was to narrate FIFA to narrate real football.

Although what was most difficult for her to pronounce during the recording of the narrations for FIFA 21 was the name of Fabio Quagliarella: “I did it up to 35 times, but if you work hard and you have a passion for what you do, let no one stop you.”

In this way, NiraJuanco will be the first female voice to narrate football matches in the FIFA series. But she will not do it alone, Manolo Lama will accompany her in this work. It should be remembered that the sports journalist broadcast Formula 1 in the past and that before her, other colleagues such as Paco González and Antoñito Ruiz were part of the cast of commenters of this video game in its previous editions.

FIFA 21 arrives worldwide on October 9 on Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If you are expecting the release as much as we do, don’t forget you can buy cheap FIFA 21 coins for current- and next-gen console on FUTeamGo store!
