The most delicious vegetable baby snacks
It is time to introduce your baby to the most delicious additional food and practise snacks! For about 6 months, your baby only has had milk so far and it contained all the important nutrients he needed. Now it also is time for other nutrients, and therefore time to make your own baby food. In this blog we will introduce the most delicious vegetable recipes for your little one.
Minced meat with broccoli tomato and pasta
This recipe has minced meat, broccoli, tomato and pasta in it. Sounds delicious, doesn’t it? It will also be ready in just a few minutes. Start with frying the minced meat in the pan. Do not use butter for this. Meanwhile, you can peel the tomato, cut it into pieces and boil it in water until the vegetable is nice and tender. Boil the broccoli as well, and do the same for the pasta. When everything is done, just puree everything together and you have an amazing pasta your baby will enjoy.
Sweet potato, cauliflower and peas
For this vegetable snack you use 1 peeled sweet potato, a few cauliflower florets and 1 handful of (frozen) peas. Cut the sweet potato into pieces and boil it together with the cauliflower in a pan filled with water for about 15 to 20 minutes. Add the peas in the pan for the last two minutes. When the cooking is done, drain the water from the pan and puree the vegetables until it is one smooth substance. To make the snack extra yummy, you can add a little butter or oil.
Salmon with potato and beans
Also, this last snack can be made within a few minutes. Peel the potatoes and cut them into pieces. Thereafter, you can boil them in a pan of water and cook them for about 15 to 20 minutes. Meanwhile, wash the beans and remove the tops. Let the beans cook in a pan filled with water for about 10 minutes as well. On to the salmon, steam or boil the fish until ready. Now all your ingredients are cooked, you drain everything and mash it together into a smooth tasty snack.
